Resonate Frequency Breathing meditation, Self-Myofascial Release (MFR) with Yin Yoga (gentle stretching), Acupressure for the Water Element, and a Nidra body scan, option for AcuDetox

Resonant Frequency Breathing meditation uses auditory cues to guide the transition between inhalation and exhalation, supporting a consistent breathing rhythm shown to improve heart rate variability, autonomic balance, and overall nervous system regulation.

Myofascial Release (MFR) utilizes specialized therapy balls to gently address areas of fascial restriction, promoting improved tissue mobility, circulation, and hydration. This work is combined with gentle, sustained stretching through yin-style poses to support connective tissue health. During these poses, participants may optionally apply acupressure to points traditionally associated with supporting the Water Element, which is linked to restoration and regulation during the winter season.

A guided Yoga Nidra body scan follows, providing structured verbal cues to facilitate systematic muscular and neurological relaxation. This practice supports parasympathetic activation and cognitive quieting. The session continues with an extended meditation focused on enhancing the “rest and digest” response. Optional auricular acupuncture or ear seeds (auricular acupressure) may be offered to further support relaxation and stress reduction.

During the Yoga Nidra body scan, participants may also choose to receive an Acudetox ear acupuncture treatment lasting approximately 25 minutes.

TEACHER BIO

Rachel completed a 200 hour yoga immersion in 2011 followed by a 200 hour teacher training in 2012 in a heart-centered hatha style yoga in Arcata, CA. In 2023, she completed the Yoga Medicine 500 hour program to become a Therapeutic Yoga Specialist; this program has incorporated Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy and myofascial work. The TCM element led her to complete the AcuDetox ear acupuncture training. She has personal experience with chronic pain from an autoimmune condition, and has found that mindful, somatic work can create great allover health benefits.
