Meditation

General Information about Meditation

Meditation meetings: These meetings are in person, located in our meditation log cabin, usually couple times a month and on Sundays. We use sound technologies of Hemi-Sync® and Monroe Sound Science to help achieve desired states of consciousness during meditation process. We use comfortable reclining seats and headphones that we provide. In addition, we provide blankets, pillows and eye masks. These meetings are free as community service.

Practicing meditation helps calm the mind, reduce stress, and brings you into a more balanced emotional state. With regular practice, it improves focus, enhances self-awareness, and supports better sleep. It also helps regulate the nervous system, lowering anxiety and increasing resilience to daily challenges. Over time, meditation fosters inner peace, clarity, and a deeper sense of connection with yourself and the world around you.

Meditating by yourself is important for regular practice but being part of a meditation group offers support, motivation, and a sense of community. Practicing together deepens focus, strengthens commitment, and creates shared positive energy. Group meditation also provides guidance, structure, and opportunities to learn from others, helping your practice grow more quickly and meaningfully.

These meetings are also offered once a month as a virtual meeting for those who are not living in our community or are unable to attend in person. Our Shared Commitment to a Safe & Supportive Space

Guidelines for successful meditation practice

Your comfort, safety, and sense of belonging mean everything to us. To create the nurturing environment we all deserve, we kindly ask everyone to honor these simple community guidelines:

  • Confidentiality is sacred – What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. This is a trusted space where you can speak openly from the heart, knowing your words and experiences will never leave the group.
  • Your experience belongs to you – We invite each person to interpret their own insights, symbols, messages, and feelings. There is no “right” meaning—we honor your unique journey of discovery.
  • We meet each other without judgment** – Every perspective is welcomed with compassion and understanding. We come together in full support of one another, free of criticism or comparison.
  • Mutual respect guides us – We listen deeply, speak kindly, and give everyone space to share without interruption.

A Few Gentle Reminders for the Practice

  • Set a quiet intention (even a simple one is perfect)
  • Stay open and receptive
  • Let go and allow whatever arises
  • Release the need to compare your experience with anyone else’s
